Love vs. The Cold

Image5

Barefoot Earthing on chilly nights, tis the way to clear the head.

Men should strive for clear heads ruled by higher centers and warm hearts fearless in all weather. Men should strive to be men… Quotes about strength? I have a million, only because I’ve lived every line.

Nature is receptive, even nurturing of us, we imprint it with positive and negative perceptions.

There’s a lot of animals out there though. The human interpersonal biosphere can be colder than mother nature’s coldest night. So keep your head out of negative games, keep your heart close, and let no one step on the throne of your spirit-soul. You’re better than that. I’m better than that. We all are.

Sometimes it takes a cold night, wind rushing through your spirit, the Earth embracing your soles in love… to remind us of that.

The message today? Be safe, be warm. Conscious love takes care.

Connection and communication with other sentient beings in the cold void of space is a gift not a guarantee. To be sentient in the touching and interacting with the hearts of others is conscious love. The black is mighty cold out there. Take anyone and anything for granted at your peril. Especially your own heart and self respect.

The first relationship you have with the opposite sex is with your own opposite side. So when we treat or mistreat each other we show that relationship off in its beauty and dysfunction.

Spiritually in romance there is nothing more sacred than that opposite part of yourself, your “other side”. Your feminine side love if you are a man or masculine side love if you are a woman.

To share it is sacred. It is love for you to share, given to you by your own soul, your other half of divine spark.

The sharing of that love should be celebrated and we should be conscious in the way we treat those we love. This is not often the case in our world. We give our own sacred love away or mistreat the love of others, because we are not conscious of what we’re playing with. What we’re playing with is the stuff of creation.

So today may we all face the mirror. May we face and take responsibility for the ways we do not respect the love in ourselves and in others.

We should strive to be men and women of impeccable hearts and pay it forward in the destiny of love with cherishing all love we are fortunate to know and experience.

Way To Go Doc Brown

This is an amazing video and message. Watch it and watch it again. It’s pure and inspirational. I found it more so than any movie released this decade. It reminds me of a time when the message could be simple and inspirational, not convoluted and brooding.

This isn’t a reboot/remake/rehash/CGI of Doc Brown speaking his classic lines either. It’s the same Doc Brown. Doc Brown being his good natured and off kilter self with more wrinkles and a tired looking face. Yet the message is as powerful as it always has been.

Let’s keep open minds, let’s clear ourselves of the gunk/darkness/cynicism/unnecessary drama. The future is being made in this moment right now. The best thing we can do is clear ourselves and remember how to fly. Remember the inner spark, as Doc Brown always did.

It’s easy but not something you think about. It’s in the release and letting go. Doc brown didn’t have many mean bones in his body, that’s why he could create flight (Biff didn’t create it, he temporarily stole it and it killed him). Doc is a character. You’re a real person. The spirit is the same regardless of who embodies it.

If we do that we will naturally manifest and gravitate toward positive futures.

The romance of life

Life is romance. Everything is romance. Romance is art waiting to be practiced.

There are many emanations of the spectrum, shades and beams of light through the leaves in this art.

Many expressions of the romance and many disciplines to the art of being human. The romance of being a living independent lifeform.

One of the most important arts that we can learn and practice is the art of gratitude. Appreciate what you have and nurture that. Expound upon that. Be thankful and practice that art every day.

You will see, with any awareness, the death of many things in the fucked up world. You’d be right to complain, in some ways the sky is falling. This is not the end of the world. Human perception tends to be easily snagged by momentum it perceives.

If you love something you can promote what it’s not is not. Practice finding your center and stepping outside your reaction and the momentum of the degradation you see.

Get to know gratitude. Make a friend of it. Invite it over for dinner. Show it a good time.

The art of appreciation is a fundamental art in the romance of life. It’s as fundamental as passion is and shares a home close to it.

The romance is a cruel mistress to those who fail to learn it and to those who choose defeat. Especially those who have it good but choose to complain and fixate on negatives. The world would rapidly change if those people woke up and started fixating on and promoting qualities of abundance and regeneration instead.

The mistress can be cruel but means to teach us. The romance is not a given. It’s a swim upstream and there’s no guarantees. Some of our journeys have been kicked before so we know how dynamic life is.

It’s an effort to swim the river and meet good people and good things, to be bathed in brighter and warmer waters. Focus on the qualities in yourself and the qualities in others and the water will be warmer. You’ll find that when you meet others like this and work together that swimming the river is easy. The mistress will become your wisdom and your bride.

If you focus on defeatism you’re already defeated and do yourself the worst disservice because it took your effort in the romance to be who you are today. That attitude hurts the bearer of it most. In that case we’re lucky if the mistress shows up with reminders because it means that we’re not fully out of touch with the river (which is impossible but some people are far out).

So practice the art of appreciation like a weight lifter would lift weights. Make it an exercise. There is no perfect perfection in the arts, there is perfecting our arts. Your life is your sculpture and canvas.

Appreciation invites life, love and creativity into your heart and invites you to the party and the romance that is life.

So pour a glass, invite gratitude in and open the door for yourself to join the romance of life.
