Sometimes knowing that you don’t know is most difficult yet can be empowering

I tend to have good senses. If something is about to happen, like some event or upheaval, I tend to sense it. My intuition is at least exercised and used. I wouldn’t say it’s better than others. I’ve known people much more intuitive than me.

It’s not easy in any capacity because you’re the canary in the coal mine and most people don’t want to hear you sing. They don’t want to be interrupted or disrupted from the rush and distraction even if they’re breathing toxic gas.

If you go to the opposite end of the spectrum though you find not just your intuition and awareness of things whether good or bad, you realize just how much you don’t know.

Having keen senses is one thing but sensing is not the same as knowing.

So then you realize how much you don’t know. Which is a hurdle enough. Coming to peace with that is itself difficult… I mean shoot, everything you see and touch is processed in your brain so are you really seeing anything? Is anything really 3D when you can only see the front of it with your two eyes? Atoms don’t ever touch so are you really touching anything? Are you touching your lover when skin presses? Well yeah energy touches in a lover’s context and you feel energy radiated from their atoms when pressed against their body. For the sake of mind boggling thought exercises atoms/matter never actually touch.

So being content with how much we don’t know can be a challenge. For some it’s mind blowing in a good way, it leaves them in awe and wonder. For some it’s more scary and daunting. To have that realization is a challenge though.

So if you go further along that spectrum of, “I’m not gonna be an ego dazed coal miner but more of a canary” you begin to become aware of the fact that you don’t know.

It’s not enough that we’re blind and ignorant in this world/matrix to varying degrees, now you’re realizing it. Self awareness, the self observing itself, is kicking in.

You begin to think of all the times in your life when maybe you had a sense about something, maybe you didn’t, but you couldn’t possibly know what happened or came next. Even if your intuition was most strong it wouldn’t be the same as “knowing”.

So now you start to make peace with how blind you are. Not just that you are blind but that you know it and you also know that anything can happen in life and you might not know it.

Nothing is totally random, everything depends on probabilities and potentials, but we’re not even aware of all the probabilities let alone knowing.

People think the end of the journey of self awakening is some great wisdom. What if it’s realizing how much you don’t know, how blind you are, and coming to terms with that? What if it’s simply being able to live with that awareness and knowledge? You’re still in the same coal mine as the drunken miners but you’re aware of it.

At least you’re free from having to protect yourself from the reality of the cave and from knowing. So many miners in the cave spend their lives trying to distract themselves from any sense of awareness, from any knowing, because it’s too much to deal with (and ends whatever illusion they have). It takes a lot of energy to keep that up.

So at least you’re free from your own inner bondage and anxious neurosis, if not from the cave itself and your own blindness.

Maybe your mind begins to percolate. Maybe rays of light poke through Plato’s cave. Maybe you begin to wonder what can be known and if you do truly know anything. Maybe enlightenment itself is not some grand thing but a baby step on a grand unfathomable stage.

But you find strength and confidence in taking those steps. There’s a comfort because unlike the miners totally at the whim of the cave AND their own blindness, you’ve taken some power back in yourself. A small amount, maybe foolish and easy to write off as not even real. Moisture on Mercury is more noticeable.

Yet it’s SOMETHING and knowing that you created that something in yourself is something. The work wasn’t done for you by God, higher beings, or gurus.

You CREATED something in yourself with your something, however blind and ignorant your something, and that is something.

For Your Health

These are “tips” of the iceberg. If you want to be healthy be ready to dive into yourself for the love of self exploration, knowledge, and your potential.

This blog is shared under the agreement of mutual uplift that you: take what you need, leave what you don’t, add to what you know, share what you know.

The quick overview –

  1. Eat organic food and locally where possible. By doing so you help yourself and the farmers. Sleep and plenty of water are the other two basic food and lifestyle necessities.
  2. Consider getting a good water filtration system, and air purifier
  3. Remove all toxic cosmetics, soaps, and deodorants – replace with natural substances where possible. This again helps you and the world around you (the environment and consequentially others who exist on this planet as well). This also has the benefit (when combined with a good diet that promotes digestive health) of making you smell better; less body odor, better breath, and healthier bowels (which are a main way in which toxins are moved out of your body). People lather themselves with chemicals and toxins to cover up unpleasant scents; and by that contribute to the problem. Remember that health is an internal issue and begins from within. All aspects of your well being are connected in that.
  4. Use natural and high quality supplements.
  5. Consider a bodily cleansing program.
  6. Nothing works without your participation and anything works better with gratitude. Expect trial and error as you begin to listen to your body and inner guidance.

Who is an Autopathist? ANYONE who knows just what to do in sickness and does it of his own accord is an Autopathist, be he physician or patient. Sickness has no terrors for autopathists. If they were to get sick they know they could soon get well, for THEY KNOW HOW. I coined the word, Autopathy, from the Greek “Autos,” meaning SELF, and “Pathos,” meaning DISEASE or TREATMENT. Autopathy is, therefore, the scientific, or commonsense, treatment of one’s self. This knowledge is easily and quickly acquired by anyone who is willing to devote a little study to Autology and Autopathy and to this volume.

Health problems? We’re at war with ourselves. You could say that we’re at war with nature yet nature is within. You can’t “save” the nature outside of you if you neglect that (a part of you) is nature too. You have the potential to be as self generating/organizing as nature. Nature goes through cycles and your body goes through cycles. Your spirit and material body form a whole. Self honesty is firstly important to keep your being lively and inner communication pathways open.

There are many ways in which health is assaulted that we participate in. Let’s save ourselves the time and focus on something other than the body as weak, rather let’s focus on it as a living force. Does it make sense to do things to the body that impede its functions and ability to touch/experience/connect to the world? There are everyday bad habits and there is ignorantly defending things that hurt you. The first step to health is honesty with oneself. One must want to be healthy; and that desire must be greater than hold ups and prior habits/conditioning. Sometimes it is pain that causes the greatest wake ups, it tells you that you are hurting in some way. Figuring out why requires your attention and care. Your body is the ship and you’re the captain. With that in mind how far do you think that you should be getting with the extent that you’ve taken to know yourself and care for that ship?

Here are some things you can try to strengthen your health. Self empowerment can come from simple actions. A lot of this information was gotten from this video; Jerry Brunetti’s Food As Medicine.

Sleep

Get sleep. Make the time.

Grounding

In the emotiona sense? Yep! In the sense of higher awareness? Sure! Most basically: the actual ground! The Earth is the greatest balancer of natural energies and healer there is around here!

Balance your diet PH

This is the simplest, easiest, and cheapest thing that anyone wanting to improve their health can do. Here’s a couple links to get you started –
http://www.angelfire.com/az/sthurston/acid_alkaline_foods_list.htm
http://energiseforlife.com/alkaline_lifestyle_guide.php

Table salt is bad, sea salt may or may not be better, use your discernment. I am providing this link that is critical of sea salt for the reason that there are many links on the web that thoroughly take apart table salt yet tout sea salt as the next best thing –
http://www.vegsource.com/talk/raw/messages/17442.html

It’s not about the “salt”. It’s about the MANY trace minerals that are lacking in the refined and artificial diet, and that are best found in natural sources. Sea salt has gotten attention because it has trace minerals. The quality and digestibility of the salt and minerals in it is a matter of your decision. Some people can use and may need more sodium in their diets than others. Salt is however difficult to avoid. Don’t believe the hype about any kind of salt and you should do fine.

On the topic of “That’s bad for you! You shouldn’t eat that!” foods –
Refined sugar, artificial sugar, sugar found in processed foods. Refined sugars feed cancers and are bad for your teeth. Parasites in the lower digestive system and Candida yeast thrive on sugar. Eating refined sugar is like hooking a fuel line up to the gullets of these pathogens. Your body is getting little benefit from it (you get brief stimulation and a load of problems down the line).

Lemons

What a perfect fruit! Raw lemons are full of minerals. They are considered alkaline because it’s the effect that the food has on the blood after it leaves the stomach that matters.

Increase your stomach acid strength

This can be done by taking betaine hydrochloride. Digestive enzymes (found naturally in raw foods) can also be purchased. Not drinking too much during meals is important because the fluid dilutes stomach acid. Make sure you are hydrated before you eat. Increasing stomach acid strength helps break down food so you’re going to get more nutrients in your blood. It’s also going to allow the intestines to do their job better. If you’re not breaking down food in your stomach it gets stored in your gut and the rot releases toxins and odor throughout the body. The source of many digestive problems is weak or too little acid. Some people take acid neutralizers to keep down the back up; which makes the problem worse.

Stomach acid also kills pathogens. It is a powerful defense against viruses, bacteria, parasites, molds. You want things in your digestive system to flow and give pathogens less time to take hold. Having healthy intestinal flora is important too. The digestive system should be fluidic and each part should function healthily which makes the whole stronger.

Drink lots of water

Firstly, you need water to function; you’re mostly made of water. Drink until you’re pooping at least a couple times a day too. Getting lots of water is also important if you are going to make dietary changes because your digestive system will need it to detoxify your body.

Don’t drink soda, it obviously is bad for teeth and wreaks havoc on the body’s sugar balance and it also leeches the body of minerals.
http://www.naturalnews.com/020668.html

If you drink juice go organic and no added sugar. Pomagranates for example are a wonderful source of antioxidants. Consider getting a juicer or a blender and make your own drinks. The thing about high nutritional foods is that smaller amounts can sustain the body longer than large portions of junk. This is a testament to how hearty the human body is-when you’re not getting necessary foods your body is made to sustain off of itself and its reserves. People who defend unhealthy foods and habits are in a self defeating way proclaiming how robust their willpowers are and how hearty their bodies are. Imagine putting that potential to use to strengthen and build your health. Imagine putting that potential to better use. Imagine having more energy to use in your daily life.

Get fluoride out of your life

Fluoride degrades teeth and bone mass. It numbs the brain. It’s sourced from industrial waste from the aluminum industry and repackaged for consumption. Here’s a story that is similar to how fluoride got into the American diet –
http://www.naturalnews.com/022630.html

When it comes to taking care of yourself you need to be ruthless in your discernment. You’re the caretaker of your body. You face your consequences. The world around you may experience echoes of those consequences yet you’re the one who faces them straight up. Your body doesn’t need to be “saved” so much as supported. Your body is a living force. You renew yourself each day. Being positive is embodying and acting with the virtue that we project on to heroes and want them to save us with!

Water filter

Drinking water is most important. Bottled water is often no better than tap water and comes with the added bonus of plastic. Unless you have a clean well or underground stream near by it’s a good idea to invest in a water purifier.

Fats are good for you

So is cholesterol. Your body needs fat, as it does salt and sunlight. Get a good amount of healthy fats and you’re going to feel filled. Good sources of fat are organic eggs, coconut oil, nuts, olive oil, fish oil (sourced from smaller fish is better because they have less mercury; do your own research).

Did you know that the vegetable oil you cook with turns rancid and carcinogenic at high temperatures? You might want to research that too.

Get rid of yeast

There are healthy yeasts and yeast that you don’t want in your body (Candida yeast). If you have digestive problems it may be a good idea to avoid all yeast until you figure out the causes of your problems and address them.

Yeast is found in many bread products, refined and processed foods. Check the labels, even soy sauce has yeast in it. To help counter it get probiotics in your meals. Yogurt is the easiest way, although capsules can be bought too. Vegetables are also a good way to counter yeast. Yeast feeds on sugars, the less complex the carbs the better for the yeast-although whole grains work as well for it (and it doesn’t help that most store bought bread has yeast in it). The only way to remove it is to stop feeding it, and create a presence of healthy bacteria in your lower digestive system. Are you seeing a pattern yet? It’s not enough to remove the burden-it’s at your discretion to fill the void with something better. Think of it as like clearing your garden of weeds. Now what are you going to plant?

If you have mercury in your mouth you really should get rid of yeast. The mercury in the fillings kills beneficial bacteria and allows nasty kinds to grow. With that happening it is easier for Candida yeast to take hold. Also be wary for yeast die offs if you eliminate it from your diet. People usually feel worse before better as they detox it from their bodies.

MSG

Anything with “natural flavor, hydrolyzed protein, yeast extract” in the ingredients list or any variation there of; has MSG in it.

Manufacturers are not required to list the chemical as MSG unless monosodium glutamate is actually in the product (it’s not “MSG”, it’s “processed free glutamic acid”).

If you want to find out if there is processed free glutamic acid (MSG) in a product, you must ask the manufacturer for information about “free glutamic acid”. Don’t ask about “MSG”. Manufacturers find it convenient, when speaking to consumers, to tell them that there is no “MSG” in their product, meaning that there is no ingredient called “monosodium glutamate.” Even if a manufacturer tells you there is no MSG in a product, there may be autolyzed yeast, hydrolyzed pea protein, carrageenan, sodium caseinate, enzymes, and a whole slew of other ingredients that contain or create processed free glutamic acid (MSG) during manufacture.rnrnIf you are told that all of the MSG in a product is “naturally occurring,” thank the manufacturer for that meaningless information, but explain that all processed free glutamic acid (MSG) is referred to as “natural” by the FDA — so “natural” tells you nothing. In fact, as the word “natural” is defined by the FDA, the food ingredient “monosodium glutamate” is “natural.” http://www.truthinlabeling.org/nomsg.html

Go organic

Not only is it healthier for you (you’re going to wipe out many problems from your diet as well as consume food that your body needs), you’re also supporting organic farmers, manufacturers and retailers. It is more expensive but you’re going to get more nutrition from it. The lie is that junk has any nutritional value. This applies to more than food.

Say adios to non organic milk

If you want dairy go organic (there are pasteurized varieties of organic milk) or find an organic dairy farm.

http://www.milksucks.com/pus.asp

Wheat

Separated from the wheat; the gluten is something resembling a rubber ball. If you must eat wheat breads try sprouted grain breads. I’m not going to go over bleached and enriched white bread because if you’re reading this you should know better. Whole wheat bread and multi grain bread is not all that better.

Many of us have wheat allergies and don’t notice because we force our bodies to develop balances with things that detract from us. Take the yeast, wheat, and processed foods out of your diet and you will notice a difference after you go through the withdrawal and the detoxification. Be sure that you do your research before making any changes and talk to your doctor if you have one. Changing diet is firstly a personal initiative although having a professional opinion to weigh in your decisions may be a good idea.

Microwave ovens destroy the nutritional value of food

Avoid them. Sit further away from the TV and computer too if you can help it. Cell phones, cordless phones, and power lines! The best thing to do is to stay away from them when you can.

Electronic appliances also put out a lot of positive ions which can cause and contribute to serotonin irritation syndrome.

http://www.causeof.org/topics_sero.htm

http://www.causeof.org/negative.htm

Power Lines – not Radiation but Static Electricity Causes Diseases and Cancer

Any parents out there wondering why your kid is so cranky and agitated? Other than the food they’re eating it may have something to do with the TV they are glued to. Positive ions wreak havoc on the body and neurological system.

Human wonder, compassion, creativity; and other virtues of the human spirit existed far before TV and cell phones were introduced into people’s lives.

You must be honest with yourself in regard to what devices you choose to use (its benefits and negatives).

Beeswax candles

beeswax candle.

Also consider getting a negative ion generator, these are more expensive than candles and require a source of electricity yet can be run continuously.

Not only do beeswax candles emit negative ions, they last longer than normal candles. Paraffin candles may have lead in the wicks and be full of chemicals. The scented mood lighting candle thing = surface cover and is typical of the modern mindset-surface focused (this was covered at the beginning of the blog with deodorizers). Health is waiting underneath the toxicity that we have filled and surrounded ourselves with.

The sun

Get lots of sunlight, taking care to use precautions according to your skin tone. Make your material life a canvas of balance; vibrant nights and days. Of course there are rainy days, snowy days, and all of that too. It’s your life rain or shine.

Maitake, Shitake, Reishi mushrooms

Are good immune system boosters. It is a good idea with all new supplements to take things slow and in small amounts at first.

Be well during cold season

First understand that stuffing yourself in a stale environment contributes to getting a cold. Fresh and cold air can enliven the body so be sure to take time to get fresh air if you work in an enclosed environment for long periods of time.

Make sure that if you take a supplement of Vitamin C it is complete Vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is partial; which forces your body to give minerals to make complete Vitamin C (supplements are supposed to supply not detract).

http://www.organicconsumers.org/ge/vitaminc.cfm

Synthetic vitamins are near useless

Are your supplements working? Synthetic vitamins do not resonate with living cells because they are not living. That people have survived while taking them says more about the resilience of the human body rather than the crap consumed. Get with vegetables and fruits, or even green food drinks. If you must take vitamins do your homework.

DNA can be affected by consciousness, thoughts and feelings, and environment. It can change throughout life as life is organic and flowing. The more we fight ourselves the more we cause our suffering and welcome snake oil solutions. Nature will be here long after you are gone. It is time to rediscover what “self consciousness” is.

Anything you do or change in your diet is going to have a more poignant effect if you’re striving to improve your health. If you’re on the path everything is going to come together to make you healthier. Your participation is required in that. If you want to be healthy you have to apply your intent and do your own research. It takes time to get healthier, and should be enjoyable as you do. Cherish every moment of your life.

You have a little more knowledge now. How you use it is up to you.

Best of health!

The destruction of culture is our fault

What’s destroying the progress, or even any unique markers, in human culture in America? Why is it stagnant? Is it all the fault of external factors like psychopaths ruining human institutions? Is it all the fault of unseen and quasi-mystical factors like aliens or demons? Is it all caused by deterministic fate in the material world?

Then again, maybe our egos are to blame. Maybe self indignation is to blame, everyone who gets worked up when their “side” or sports team is criticized.

This happens on social media all the time with politics. Someone will criticize the extreme political left/right for obvious destructive and absurd tendencies… Then some self righteous indignant asshole will take offense at that.

Our egos left in their base states, not kept in self-aware check or pushed to evolve, are very tribal. We identify and associate with sides/groups/banners/causes. When those banners are criticized, we too often get indignant.

We protect the worst and ugliest aspects of our “side” or our “group” rather than see the obvious flaws in these ugly elements. Rather than see how the extreme and ugly elements of our associated “side” is actually working against us!

We get indignant and defend the worst.

Now I’m not saying there aren’t forces of regression working against human culture and consciousness. Not saying they’re aren’t outright attacks against the positive elements of society-all aspects of it be it art, media, politics, business, religion and spirituality.

There are those attacks. With politics, there are attacks on the true spirit of liberalism and conservatism, which should upset us all.

Even if you’re a political liberal, and if you’re pro-human conscious and cultural growth, you should be as upset when the true spirit of conservatism is attacked as if the spirit of true liberalism is being attacked. You should be critical of the extreme absurd and ugly elements in the political left that only seek chaos and destruction.

The same goes for you if you’re politically conservative and vice versa.

The same goes for anything! If you work in an industry and you do your best to bring meaning to your work, to do your chosen path and industry justice… You should be able to call out and hold accountable those in your industry who are fakes and giving your industry a bad name. You shouldn’t be attacking the casual bystanders who criticize the fakes/ugliness in your industry. You should be calling those fakes out yourself because they bring down the integrity of everything!

Our egos are the strongest nodes in the destruction of human culture and civilization.

It’s our egos that fall into a tribal minded state, that associate/align with tribalism and one’s “side” that are fueling the destruction of civilization and the stagnation of culture.

It’s all about what we choose to align with in ourselves. Is it merely a “side”, a banner face of our favorite sports team?

Is it rather consciousness itself? Is it integrity regardless of the “side” or tribal association?

Our “tribe” should be the integrity of consciousness itself, it should be truth, it should be substance with meaning.

The second we snap to retaliate with indignant words against anyone and anything that challenges even the most superficial and fake aspects of our “side”, group, affiliation… is when we lose.

It’s one thing to defend against outright attack against something you invest your identity in and care about. It’s another to be so egotistically sensitive that you react against any perceived slight with indignation and by playing “devil’s advocate” for the worst of what or who you affiliate with.

It’s all about sense of honor. Where does our sense of honor reside? Is it for truth and integrity itself, to the extent that we strive to keep even ourselves in check? Is it for superficial egotism that simply turns into a rabid dog without self awareness when one’s “side” is questioned?

It’s not even about “sides”. When we are drawn to “this and that” we should be striving to do justice to and honor the integrity of “this and that”. If you believe in “this and that” then strive to live in a way that shows it, and understand that the other person’s “this and that” may not be your “this and that” yet is just as necessary in the wholeness of civilization.

Our “this and that” don’t have to be at war with each other like false dualities. False dualities and manufactured conflicts appeal to the lower ego. They appeal to our lower selves that want to indulge in tribalism and self destructive conflict.

Where is culture going? Go look at social media and all the people getting indignant because someone criticized the extreme ugliness/hypocrisy/corruption/negativity of their “side”. Culture is stagnant because its growth is being fought on many fronts. Not the least of which is us when we fight against positive/useful criticism and critical awareness of the corruption in our world (when the corruption happens to be on the “side” we identify with).

My goodness fellow waking egos, develop a better sense of self than that! Develop a true sense of individuality that doesn’t rely on gaining sense of identity from a sports team or politician.

The corrupt elements of any “side” or group are not anyone’s friend! Those corrupt elements are the true dissidents, only out for themselves and working against the integrity and cohesion of not just our “side” but of the whole. Of everyone, of culture itself.

Our own egos are the enemies when we refuse to see this and would rather make excuses and rationalizations for the corruption, because our egos take it personally when our “side” is questioned.

The unhealthy ego is so insecure it has no identity of its own, no foundation to stand on. All structures are built upon foundations. If we’re turning into a world that doesn’t have strong inner foundations, culture has nothing to stand on.

Another way to look at what is happening in our collective world is narcissism. Narcissists also have a strange superiority/inferiority complex where they (their “side”) can not be criticized because it is godly and perfect, yet the imperfections they can not deny are explained away with rationalizations (it’s never the narcissist’s fault when they do wrong).

Our increasing state of collective narcissism is our stagnation. Narcissism is to fight the flow of consciousness itself because it refuses to be questioned, challenged, or upset.

We only grow as sentient beings when we have the courage to question and challenge ourselves. So that our hearts, minds, and consciousnesses develop. Strong senses of self identity and independent thought.

Without that useful agitation we only find stagnation. Stagnation is what we fight for when we get indignant about the corruption of something we identify with getting brought to light.

The false self, the unhealthy and narcissistic ego fears and hates the light (of inner awakening, of consciousness, of truth). It will do everything to suppress that light except in the narrow spectrum where it is allowed to shine and be seen as godly. Narcissism is fundamentally a denial of the inner/true self, it is a running from the soul and “higher self” (which is also one’s future and highest evolved self).

The war against human culture and civilization begins within us. The destruction wins every time we capitulate to and feed the false self. The growth of consciousness and soul wins every time we choose the sobering light of self awareness. Sometimes that light is pangful, sometimes it’s blissful, it’s many different states of being and experience. It’s called truly being alive in the most fundamental ways, within.

The narcissist of course tries to mimic that liveliness with superficiality and extreme externalization however narcissism seeks death and numbing of the true self, and creates a culture of death.

The spirited person seeks a spirited awareness, to truly be alive. The courageous heart will refuse to shy away from challenges risen up with the light of self awareness, even when the ego itself is challenged because they know the ego is not the inner self. The ego can be built in healthy or unhealthy way.

If we want to see human culture and civilization thrive we all have a responsibility that begins within. It begins not with “doing” anything, rather with realizing where these battles fundamentally begin and always striving to remember.

It’s easy to get swept up in the winds of mainstream media, social media, and other influences over collective (un)consciousness. It’s easy to fall into narcissism, tribalism, and other traps of the lower self. We have to remember that’s not where our true selves reside. Our true selves do not reside in the media’s slant on reality. Our true selves were not born and created by the group or tribe.

We need to remember to have pride in ourselves. The group or “side” you chose did not suffer with you through your most trying personal challenges. It did not love you and care for you… If you’re a survivor it means that YOU did the work. You owe nothing to any group or “side” or external monstrosity of an institution or mindless collective phenomenon.

Ie. and since the “Avengers” movie is so popular now. Telling people they should like that comic book movie because it made a lot of money is sycophantic without any pride in oneself. I’ve seen responses like that a lot to any dislike of mainstream phenomenons. You don’t have to be harshly critical of something the herd currently favors above its own livelihood and existence, simply not going along with it will get weird defensive reactions from the mindless shells in it.

We must remember that anyone can wake up. We are not the brands/labels we wear, we are not our political “sides”, we are not the groups and cliques our egos associate with.

Some people have more work to do than others in waking up and reversing the force of narcissism which fights the natural flow and growth of self awareness. Of consciousness. Of the soul.

The work begins within.

Candida Auris, Paul Stamets, and Balance vs. Imbalance

https://www.naturalnews.com/2019-04-07-hospitals-pumping-deadly-superbug-fungi-into-open-air-colonizing-population.html

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/06/health/drug-resistant-candida-auris.html

The issue here is a much bigger one than the scare of the week, and we all can learn from it.

It’s a very simple issue with exponential implications.

Now we can certainly point out on this planet how microbes are carelessly misused, treated, and even used in a destructive way in weaponry. This carelessness would include the over use of anti-microbial drugs. This would all fall under the umbrella of a negative relationship with said microbes.

Then there’s some like Paul Stamets , who has a much more positive and conscious relationship with fungus.

If anything destroys us it will be our negative/darkened awareness/ignorant relationship with ourselves and the world around us. If anything saves us it will be developing a healthier, more conscious and whole minded, relationship with ourselves and world.

Call it a whole minded, soul integrated approach to reality vs. a psychopathic, false narcissistic self serving, fractured approach.

Unfortunately the psychopaths are winning and infecting the rest of the human race with their dysfunctional mind. Which is fractured and unable to see other perspectives-the full range of consciousness, and extremely destructive.

This is seen in modern political social diatribe. People are turning into tribal minded primitives out to get the other side of the false divide. We’re taught to divide ourselves in of ourselves. To harbor negative/hateful/fearful relationships in of ourselves with any and all aspects of our own beings and the world around us.

The unhealthy ego loves it because it gains a sense of individuality from this self fracturing and limiting. Individuality gained through the negative mind and reduction of consciousness. Through self limitation.

There’s a lot to learn from communal entities like fungi. Certainly the times are so crazy that even using a word like “communal” and pointing to the communal relationship of another organism, merely to study, will trigger the political left/right paradigm in some. Surely this post must be promoting communism… I’ve seen insane leaps of ill-logic made by the political left/right over less.

If your mind isn’t colonized by that bullshit and you aren’t triggered by words, then you should know there is a world out there, in nature, waiting to teach you about… itself, yourself.

It’s very important to study how nature works and maintains its balance. There’s nothing more dangerous, not even what the gloomiest conspiracy theory can conjure, than a human ego that is like an alien unto itself. The person disconnected from their own beingness stirs all manner of destruction and suffering. They will do it believing that what they’re doing is righteous (subjective thinking allows us to believe anything is good, right or wrong). That they have to save us from our souls, our stability and be as lost and fractured as they are.

The virulent psychopath is like a virulent strain of bacteria that has gotten out of control and imbalances the ecosystem. We’re so collectively and spiritually asleep, lethargic, disconnected from our true selves that this imbalance has taken place.

The thing is it’s not really anyone’s fault. We’re conditioned to be this way, our ancestors were conditioned. The only hope we have is getting in touch with ourselves, back down to our better senses again.

That’s why developing a healthy, positive, accepting-embracing rather than negative and negating relationship with nature is important. It’s not just about nature and whatever it is you’re studying and meditating on. It’s about re-training your mind toward a positive relationship with yourself, with others, with creation. One that allows expansion of consciousness and growth of soul. Not the bolstering of the false self and materialism at the cost of soul and consciousness.

Merry Christmas, or so

Some Christmas metaphysical know-how.

This is an energetically powerful time of year and much energy is stirred up during it (when that energy would rather be resting).

What might be worse than Christmas starting months early is it ending abruptly after Christmas day.

Everything is built up for months in a Christmas way then it stops. Everything goes back to drab winter, and people go back to being miserable.

It’s like running a marathon and stopping on the finish line without walking it out. It’s like making love all night and walking out with a blank face immediately after the climax.

It’s jilted and unnatural. It’s also not natural to stir up such energy in people during the darkest time of year. There is less sunlight, less energy in people, it’s not a good time to expend ourselves. The energy drain and hangover can be a bitch. There’s a reason many people get sick this time of year and it’s not because it’s cold outside. It’s because the holiday hubbub drains them and messes with their energy systems like a yo yo.

If you engage in Christmas festivities it’s better to ride them out and taper them off. It’s better for the body and energy system to let things trail off naturally, according to their own rhythms.

So find a quiet spot, light a candle, have a mug of eggnog or tea… and let yourself relax into the winter spirit. The spirit of winter lasts all winter long. It’s a low key energy, unlike the spring, and best appreciated in quiet moments.

It’s easy for all of this to be obscured by “It’s Christmas! Run around! Stop!”

The soul is analog, not digital. Think about it. Then feel it out, in yourself.

Merry week or two after Christmas.

The Connection Inherent in “Independence”

Forget Minimum Wage. Jesse Ventura says what we oughta have is Maximum Wage.

Food for thought. It is a tricky area to get into limiting how much people can make or how much they should. We live in a culture that is materialistic and survival of the fittest focused. That survival doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with being virtuous, productive, or even competent.

In this game we forget one thing. The power of money doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It implies having power over other human beings.

If you make billions while your employees suffer, that money implies taking power from other human beings.

Everything is interconnected. There is no such thing as someone who is rich and totally independent, the tycoon icon. That money was gotten from somewhere and it implies holding power in society or over others.

Why would anyone need all that control over others? Unless they have a big empty ego. People with big empty souls and big egos need healing not money and power over others.

Money is a symbolic means of energy and reward transfer between people. If we’re going to be critical of people on food stamps etc for putting a burden on our resources, we need to be as critical on those who make more than anyone needs and on programs that waste more than any one person does (like unnecessary wars).

In America and in our world we don’t necessarily respect money and the resource of it. We respect the materialistic survival of the most shrewd game in which people acquire money.

We look down upon those, from our own fear and greed, who don’t have material resources. If someone makes billions a year through unscrupulous means, they’re looked up to.

The unconscious impulses in ourselves are a mirror we all have to face and a distorted dream we all have to wake up from if we want to survive. It’s time to stop lauding that as the “American dream”. It’s not a good dream to have. It’s a dark dream that has us believe it is righteous but takes us into the dark.

Lesser Evil or Greater, They’ll All Steal Your Instinct

Sometimes I wonder why we teach kids right and wrong if we’re expected to throw it away as adults.

I mean, what changes in us that makes us stray from what we know is right and to look up to what we know is wrong?

I see all this political fighting, in this dualistic arena that is so artificial. It’s like “Pick my side because my bully will only push you down, break your teeth, and make you eat sand! The other side will do all that and kick you in the head too!”

It’s like we’re programmed/conditioned/grown into this state of disconnect in our world where we lose touch with our own sense of self preservation.

I know a lot of people say “You have to vote for the lesser evil for your survival”.

But are we really surviving? We sure aren’t thriving as a whole. Are we surviving though, or slowly dying?

Everyone rejecting the mainstream, they’re just waking up to the fact that we’re dying and they’re saying “I don’t want to die!”

Anytime anyone questions the world, the “way things are”, and especially their own conditioning they’re saying “I want to live”

That’s the spirit of life. That’s the spirit of freedom.

We should revere and respect that spirit in ourselves and each other. Not try to squash it in each other.

I can’t think of anything more self destructive than trying to squash the life in each other.

We’re only on phones and computers right now because someone, at some point, discovered electricity and invented all these pieces of technology we’re using.

Someone thought outside the box and gave us running water.

You probably have ancestors who made decisions at one point that went against the group but lead to their own survival.

We’re losing that instinct. We have plenty of the instinct to be insentiently greedy, possessive, and materialistic. That greed and possession instinct doesn’t necessarily lead to the best chance of survival though.

The instinct to think for ourselves does. It’s the most important instinct because it’s the most sighted instinct.

From that independent instinct we are more aware, we behave more wisely. We don’t go around abusing and using others, or kicking them down, because from this instinct we’re aware of how precious our freedom is.

It’s the spirit of freedom, it’s something that children revel in. It’s something we would be wise to appreciate in each other.

Don’t Vote Third Party! The Lesser Evils Await!

To everyone trying to dissuade others from voting “third party” or whatever – YUCK.

Seriously, YUCK. I hate pseudo plea pulls at the intellect and sympathy like that. I hate the way these arguments use subtle authoritarian angles and seek to push the fear buttons in others.

“I understand the need for third parties and your passion for them, but you must vote for such and such because of the greater evil”

YUCK.

Our world is already on a road of destruction and in desperate need of change. WE are in desperate need of a sense of urgency. It’s only a matter of time before there’s a Fukushima in the U.S., or fracking hits a fault line, or there’s world war 3.

We already live in a country that doesn’t give a shit about lead in drinking water. It’s not outlandish to conclude that greed and apathy rule not just our water supply but much of our modern world.

There’s so much destruction and our “leaders” don’t care! These are not good times in which to turn the mind off!

If we’re lucky we’ll use the bumps along the way to wake up. To withdraw our energy and consent from our own downfall.

I’m voting for anyone but the two “evils” because I care about my self, perhaps karma. Seriously, if the world goes to shit I want to know that I didn’t support one crook over another. I have self respect and it is a respect that deeply cares about others too, about survival on a deeper and long term level not just what’s happening on the news today.

There is no good reason to support any evil, lesser or not, if one cares about their integrity.

If it takes decades for the masses to wake up and withdraw their support from false and destructive roads, and explore other options, so be it!  We are in the mess we’re in because people have lost touch and “gone along to get along” too much. We think we’re thinking long term when putting support toward the “lesser” of evils but we’re merely taking a slower road to hell.

Long term vision is something many have lost.  We’ve lost the common sense to include the survival of our hearts and souls in our practical thinking.

The only way we can save ourselves from this mess is by WAKING UP.

Commend those with the strength and conviction to do so TODAY. Don’t patronize and condescend them.

It’s not smart to condescend those who think for their selves. You will be such a person yourself some day if you aren’t already, and the “karma” we accumulate for kicking others for thinking for themselves can be ruthless. It’s the most difficult test of the soul anyone faces in this world, it’s the loneliest and harshest test. Few want to face it so they stay asleep.

There’s nothing wrong with that (we wake up when ready), but it’s not good to attack those who do challenge themselves and question the world. It’s better to listen and learn from them as we will be them ourselves some day.

It’s always better to be awake today than pay for it tomorrow. Yet there are many extenuating circumstances in which we think we must “go along to get along”. Just because we have to do that sometimes doesn’t mean we should be ok with it. Not being ok with it is what makes us human.

It’s the conflict, the nagging itch within that makes us alive. As soon as we give that up and go to sleep we are no longer living.

Condescension toward those who have courage to think for themselves is, always has been, and always will be shameful.

Maybe it’s better to stop trying to convert them and rather stop, listen, and learn from them.

Cemented Minds

Behind every oppressive ideological movement, whatever it is – left or right, religious or atheistic, black or white – there’s an idiot who takes the ideology literally and is willing to force others to conform to their beliefs. This is fundamentally selfish but few idiots see it that way. They believe.

There’s a fool every minute in the dark matrix, with its temptations of helping others by oppressing and hurting them (doing the opposite of helping). There’s a fool every minute with a materialistically fused inflexible mind who takes ideology literally. Those who can’t see the big picture shouldn’t be telling others how to live their little pictures.

Ultimately the only One that can see the biggest picture is the One and absolute source of all that is, ever was, and will be.

Regardless of reasons, good or negative intentions, anytime we try to control/conform/manipulate/afflict others we’re acting in defiance of that source. This never ends well, despite whatever darkness is tempting us down that road.

There you will find the source of all suffering and “karma”… and even that pain is there to alert us to the reality of our situation, that we’re doing things the wrong way or allowing the wrong things to be done to us.

It’s time to wake up before it’s too late.
