Let those who seek the dimming of the light seek that.
You though, you are the light and don’t forget it. Remember to look up once in a while. Seek all the amazing things already out there and all the things we can accomplish.
You’re meant to touch the stars because it’s the stars in which you are made of.
Isn’t it strange when the rioting started? Which is to say when that cop killed that guy.
What timing. When the country was just starting to reopen and get back to normal.
Coincidence?
This happens ALL THE TIME, but of course most people are asleep to it.
Every time our collective course is moving in a healing or positive direction something chaotic happens to bring things down back into chaos/dissonance/wounding/entropy.
Why was the rebellious (against the tyranny of the machine) and conscious expansive energy of the 60s subverted and distracted by the Vietnam war?
Why was the turn of the millennium, a time of new beginnings and potentials to blossom, subverted by chaos and collective wounding on 9/11?
Hope for the future is constantly subverted in our world. Consonance is brought into discord by atonal clanging notes.
Notes of dissonance like sociopathic cops who just coincidentally go full psychopath at this time and kick off the powder keg of riots. A powder keg in the collective psyche of the disgruntled masses that was already there, made worse recently by a lockdown that has seen people go hungry.
That powder keg is already there, there’s a lot of toxic and repressed emotions and energies in people. It doesn’t take much to light that powder keg in a species which has been beat down and lied to as much as ours have by the negative “powers that be”. Worldly powers, they’re not the highest powers in the universe yet they have control over human society and our easily predictable monkey brains.
Obviously the average human is fed up with this even if they don’t consciously realize it. Their soul is fed up with the corruption, with the lies, with the fleecing of humanity.
There is so much wounding, anger, rage, to tap into in the human collective.
I’m not saying that’s not already there. I’m saying what a strange time for the powder keg to be lit and riots to start.
Just as the country was looking to heal and get back on track after the terrible bumbling of the coronavirus lockdown by those with power and authority on this worldly level.
The human collective soul be like, “Can we just catch a breath? Can we just get a break from this constant insanity and chaos?”
Don’t ask that of the control obsessed negative forces and psychopaths because they feed off frustration and despair. It gives them power to see humanity crushed and reduced into easily controllable flickers of the great lights we all once were.
How can we heal, how can we move forward again? I don’t just mean socially or politically, these issues run much deeper than that. We’re all living the effects of that whether we recognize it or not.
How do we transmute the powder keg of wounding, frustration, anger, before it consumes us?
How do we move forward? How do we bridge a consonance with harmony and create a co-alignment with healing? With our own best selves collectively and individually? With a bright and expansive future so robust it can’t be disrupted off course by “random” acts of negativity on the world stage by selfish psychopaths from cops to congress?
How do we outgrow those negative actors and their influence on our collective reality?
How do we heal and step into a world consonant with our souls and highest potentials?
The issue here is a much bigger one than the scare of the week, and we all can learn from it.
It’s a very simple issue with exponential implications.
Now we can certainly point out on this planet how microbes are carelessly misused, treated, and even used in a destructive way in weaponry. This carelessness would include the over use of anti-microbial drugs. This would all fall under the umbrella of a negative relationship with said microbes.
Then there’s some like Paul Stamets , who has a much more positive and conscious relationship with fungus.
If anything destroys us it will be our negative/darkened awareness/ignorant relationship with ourselves and the world around us. If anything saves us it will be developing a healthier, more conscious and whole minded, relationship with ourselves and world.
Call it a whole minded, soul integrated approach to reality vs. a psychopathic, false narcissistic self serving, fractured approach.
Unfortunately the psychopaths are winning and infecting the rest of the human race with their dysfunctional mind. Which is fractured and unable to see other perspectives-the full range of consciousness, and extremely destructive.
This is seen in modern political social diatribe. People are turning into tribal minded primitives out to get the other side of the false divide. We’re taught to divide ourselves in of ourselves. To harbor negative/hateful/fearful relationships in of ourselves with any and all aspects of our own beings and the world around us.
The unhealthy ego loves it because it gains a sense of individuality from this self fracturing and limiting. Individuality gained through the negative mind and reduction of consciousness. Through self limitation.
There’s a lot to learn from communal entities like fungi. Certainly the times are so crazy that even using a word like “communal” and pointing to the communal relationship of another organism, merely to study, will trigger the political left/right paradigm in some. Surely this post must be promoting communism… I’ve seen insane leaps of ill-logic made by the political left/right over less.
If your mind isn’t colonized by that bullshit and you aren’t triggered by words, then you should know there is a world out there, in nature, waiting to teach you about… itself, yourself.
It’s very important to study how nature works and maintains its balance. There’s nothing more dangerous, not even what the gloomiest conspiracy theory can conjure, than a human ego that is like an alien unto itself. The person disconnected from their own beingness stirs all manner of destruction and suffering. They will do it believing that what they’re doing is righteous (subjective thinking allows us to believe anything is good, right or wrong). That they have to save us from our souls, our stability and be as lost and fractured as they are.
The virulent psychopath is like a virulent strain of bacteria that has gotten out of control and imbalances the ecosystem. We’re so collectively and spiritually asleep, lethargic, disconnected from our true selves that this imbalance has taken place.
The thing is it’s not really anyone’s fault. We’re conditioned to be this way, our ancestors were conditioned. The only hope we have is getting in touch with ourselves, back down to our better senses again.
That’s why developing a healthy, positive, accepting-embracing rather than negative and negating relationship with nature is important. It’s not just about nature and whatever it is you’re studying and meditating on. It’s about re-training your mind toward a positive relationship with yourself, with others, with creation. One that allows expansion of consciousness and growth of soul. Not the bolstering of the false self and materialism at the cost of soul and consciousness.
The obvious answer is mistaken identity or that the hand is being used as a warm babysitter (ferrets steal socks, why not hands too).
Having had ferrets, I think she’s showing the kits/nest off. It’s not uncommon for pets with babies to seek out human attention. The idea that “It takes a village to raise a child” is not exclusive to human babies.
We’re basically parental figures to our pets since they depend on us to survive, and they really do seek our approval. Yes the animal has its own maternal instincts, it is totally capable of caring for its young. Yet you as a higher being bring in another factor into its reality. A bridge between the “above” and “below”. The bonding and approval we show to our pets does have an impact on them. For us it would be the same as a “higher” being interacting with us.
When people ask if a higher power exists, etc… All you need to do is look at how you’re treating your children and animals. Anyone “lower” than you on the scale of consciousness (not lower in a hierarchically controlling way). What kind of channel for higher love/guidance are you for anyone who looks up to YOU?
How we treat those “below” us is like a gateway we open for how we ask to be treated.
I saw this guy in the middle of the road driving home through the downpour. Everyone else was driving over him. I didn’t want to stop either, it was pouring and I was tired. I did though. He was huddled and hurt so I carefully put my hand under him. Brought him into the woods and was gonna place him under some leaf cover, he gripped my fingers like he didn’t want to be put on the ground. He shook and pinched me every time the thunder clapped overhead.
At any other time this bird would fly away. At that moment I could feel he did not want to be alone. So I drove home with him in my palm, one hand on the wheel. I put him under a covered deck where it was dry and not in the open. Dried him off and gave him my shirt to rest on.
After I took him home I wanted to keep helping. He was hopping and stretching his wings, eyes were open and alert. I knew the best thing I could do was trust nature and his strength. So after the storm cleared I took him back to the spot I found him. It was a cool drive because he was alert and looking out the window. I found some brush and cover, and he hopped to it. I said a little nature prayer, wished him well , thanked him, and that was that.
It was a heart intensive experience and my honor to help this beautiful bird. It is sacred to work with nature. He could of been dying and maybe all I did was show him something other than cold rain in those moments. Maybe he survived and I saved him. Maybe I gave him reassurance and held space for him, and the rest was in the hands of nature and whatever spirits were watching out for him. I have no illusions that this bird would let me pick him up if I saw him again. All life is sentient on some level though. Everything has a need to connect. No one wants to feel scared and isolated in the storm.
When we encounter a wounded animal or part of nature it is our responsibility to be the best caretakers and stewards we can in the span of time we are asked to. We make life a little better when we approach the wounds with mindfulness and empathy.
Food for thought. It is a tricky area to get into limiting how much people can make or how much they should. We live in a culture that is materialistic and survival of the fittest focused. That survival doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with being virtuous, productive, or even competent.
In this game we forget one thing. The power of money doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It implies having power over other human beings.
If you make billions while your employees suffer, that money implies taking power from other human beings.
Everything is interconnected. There is no such thing as someone who is rich and totally independent, the tycoon icon. That money was gotten from somewhere and it implies holding power in society or over others.
Why would anyone need all that control over others? Unless they have a big empty ego. People with big empty souls and big egos need healing not money and power over others.
Money is a symbolic means of energy and reward transfer between people. If we’re going to be critical of people on food stamps etc for putting a burden on our resources, we need to be as critical on those who make more than anyone needs and on programs that waste more than any one person does (like unnecessary wars).
In America and in our world we don’t necessarily respect money and the resource of it. We respect the materialistic survival of the most shrewd game in which people acquire money.
We look down upon those, from our own fear and greed, who don’t have material resources. If someone makes billions a year through unscrupulous means, they’re looked up to.
The unconscious impulses in ourselves are a mirror we all have to face and a distorted dream we all have to wake up from if we want to survive. It’s time to stop lauding that as the “American dream”. It’s not a good dream to have. It’s a dark dream that has us believe it is righteous but takes us into the dark.
People show you who they are when you’re in a low place but it isn’t revealed until you’re in a high place.
Some people are nice out of genuine compassion, some are nice because you’re no threat when inferior.
Now I find it a funny world we live in where authoritarianism is so popular and external authority figures get so much appeal. This to the extent that people fight and even kill each other over whose external authority figure is supreme.
Yet so little regard for the inner authority and sovereignty of the individual self.
So much money and resources both internal and external given to the external authority figures.
Yet so little recognition and respect given to the heart and mind of each other. So little care toward helping each other care for the garden of self.
You can’t get something for nothing in this world but you can get nothing for something if you give your energy to those external figures.
You can create great somethings if you use your energy cultivating your garden and helping those around you with theirs.
I think I’m nowhere to be found on the political spectrum. The world is a tough place, yeah. So we have to put our own efforts in. At the same time it can be so cruel that it is a good thing to help (when we can) others find their feet, their step, or maybe heal their feet.
I think the madness and cruelty of the world can really have a corrupting effect on us. It can really turn people into overly egotistic, judgmental, negative something or others…
So I try to find the good in all sides. I have left leaning friends, I have right leaning friends. I have religious, spiritual, and atheistic friends. I try to listen to the knowledge and compassion in all of them.
It’s a cruel world and I think in some ways it’s been made that way to corrupt us. To make us into Orcs, like fallen Elves (LOTR reference). It becomes easy for the darkness and madness to take center stage in our eye’s and fill our realities.
That’s why we should focus on the light in ourselves, each other, everywhere. In different opinions, ideas, sides. It’s not about duality. It’s about finding the quality and follies in both sides.
The only counterbalance to the darkness out there is focusing on the light in all things. I don’t mean in an “Everyone gets a sticker” kind of way. I mean in a way that takes strength and effort to cultivate that light and encourage it in others. I wish we did that more.
Just because we focus on the light doesn’t mean we become blind to the darkness in the world. It means that we become stronger and develop self command, so the darkness doesn’t possess us. It means seeing the corruption and pain with knowledge and empathy.
Focusing on the quality in ourselves and others makes that light a stronger reality. If some people don’t seem to have any light, then focus on those who do. Those who don’t will want to catch up eventually and leave the darkness of chaos and separation from the light to be part of the true “in” crowd.
The more we focus on and exercise the light the easier it becomes because it begins to take center stage.
It’s like a muscle, all muscles become stronger when exercised.
There are two men in every man. There is his ego, his superficial self which you come to know in waking time.
There is his soul. This is under the surface and unspoken. Yet it does slip through in speech occasionally, in symbolic actions and timings, and the actions a man takes despite what his ego says.
If you want to know a man pay less attention to his ego and what he says. The goodness or negativity of a man is told from his soul despite proclamations he makes on the surface. It is from within that men act from. Many are unconscious of what is driving them but this does not change what is driving them.
We live in a world where many men make proclamations on the surface, all their energy is invested in force and extroverted action. This has made man into a hypocrite and something of a shell.
So a man must awaken the sleeper within. He must humble his brash surface and go within, discover his soul. There he must do clearing and atonement, depending on its nature. He must get in touch with his true self and quest to consciously act in accordance with the eternal breath that gives him life and the unconditional heart which gives him his pulse and sentience. He must strive to act with the positive aspects of his soul. He must endeavor to act in “right action”, or conscious use of will in all that he does.
In this way man does not need salvation, he walks a path that is his salvation.
A man’s path becomes him whether he is conscious of it or not.
Sometimes I wonder why we teach kids right and wrong if we’re expected to throw it away as adults.
I mean, what changes in us that makes us stray from what we know is right and to look up to what we know is wrong?
I see all this political fighting, in this dualistic arena that is so artificial. It’s like “Pick my side because my bully will only push you down, break your teeth, and make you eat sand! The other side will do all that and kick you in the head too!”
It’s like we’re programmed/conditioned/grown into this state of disconnect in our world where we lose touch with our own sense of self preservation.
I know a lot of people say “You have to vote for the lesser evil for your survival”.
But are we really surviving? We sure aren’t thriving as a whole. Are we surviving though, or slowly dying?
Everyone rejecting the mainstream, they’re just waking up to the fact that we’re dying and they’re saying “I don’t want to die!”
Anytime anyone questions the world, the “way things are”, and especially their own conditioning they’re saying “I want to live”
That’s the spirit of life. That’s the spirit of freedom.
We should revere and respect that spirit in ourselves and each other. Not try to squash it in each other.
I can’t think of anything more self destructive than trying to squash the life in each other.
We’re only on phones and computers right now because someone, at some point, discovered electricity and invented all these pieces of technology we’re using.
Someone thought outside the box and gave us running water.
You probably have ancestors who made decisions at one point that went against the group but lead to their own survival.
We’re losing that instinct. We have plenty of the instinct to be insentiently greedy, possessive, and materialistic. That greed and possession instinct doesn’t necessarily lead to the best chance of survival though.
The instinct to think for ourselves does. It’s the most important instinct because it’s the most sighted instinct.
From that independent instinct we are more aware, we behave more wisely. We don’t go around abusing and using others, or kicking them down, because from this instinct we’re aware of how precious our freedom is.
It’s the spirit of freedom, it’s something that children revel in. It’s something we would be wise to appreciate in each other.
